Uros trains two days a week at ‘Sportpark Jekerdal’. UROS is easy accessible for all athletes from various levels. Beginning athletes are more than welcome at our practices! Before the training starts a warming-up will take place. After various warm-up laps around the track we stretch and various drills will be performed before we start with the practice. During the Thursdays the emphasis is put on the technical events - like long jump, shot put, or sprinting - but it is also possible to join the running program. On Tuesdays it is the other way around, this day the runners will get the most attention. Our accommodation, the track, is found at ‘Sportpark Jekerdal’. You can find the sport park in the South-West of Maastricht. If you come from the main police building at the traffic intersection Prins-Bisschopssingel – Sint Hubertuslaan, you follow the Luikerweg to the Sint-Pietersberg. Just at the foot of this hill the road makes a right, follow this road. The name of the road changes into Mergelweg, follow until you see a parking at your right. Now you can see the track!
