The start-to-run seminar of Uros will take eight weeks, with the incentive to meet running. Of course this training can be used to get your condition back on track after a period without sporting, or to get some useful tips about running. We will start on the lowest level and the aim is to minimize the level difference with the regular UROS practices, so you can join these at Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You should definitely not think that eight practices will change you into a world-class athlete, so keep on running for yourself or take a look at a UROS practice on Tuesday or Thursday. We hope that we can motivate you to continue working on your condition.

The seminar will start on Tuesday 13 September. The first UROS practice will take place on Tuesday 6 September. These practices can be used - if you would like to subscribe but when you are doubting about the seminar – to get to know us a little better. Also at the introduction activities you are more than welcome to join us! You can find a schedule of our after INKOM activities on www.uros.nl .

Time and location
Every Tuesday we will have practice between 18.30 and 19.30. We will meet in front of the locker rooms of the track, at sports park Jekerdal, located at the Mergelweg 120. Due to the nice location we can run in the beautiful area around the track. If you don’t know where the track is, you can come to the big clock on the Vrijthof on Tuesday the 13th. We will assemble there at 18.15 and cycle together to the track.

Costs and accessories
The price of the seminar is €5,-. This is to be handed in cash before the start of the first practice. Besides it is mandatory for you to have a Maastricht University sports card.

However there is a special action, if you eventually become an UROS member you can get you fee of the start-to-run seminar back. You will get a €5,- reduction on your contribution.
Furthermore it is recommended to wear clothes suitable for running: well-fitting (sport)clothes and a sport shoes are definitely no luxury.
